Following the success of our ‘explosive’ EV3 project, the Kia Academy invited us back to create a product discovery film for the new EV6.
As an evolution of the original model, our brief was to spotlight the car’s new and reimagined features – and what better way to explore them than with a motion-control robot?
We took the concept a step further by making the robot a character in the film, blending BTS-style moments of it exploring the EV6 with POV shots from its own camera. The result feels both technical and human, a machine fascinated by design.
Shot in just one day with a chunky shotlist, this project was made possible thanks to the incredible team at Light & Distort, our brilliant crew, and Motiv8 for their product expertise.
