We’re super-chuffed that 3 awards are winging their way back to adam+gary Towers from this year’s FOOH.com Awards, which celebrate “the most exceptional global FOOH campaigns of the year”.

We’ve picked up two Gold Awards for campaigns with Primark and The Ryder Cup, alongside a Silver Award for the London Marathon medal reveal campaign. Each project was shortlisted by a judging panel of industry experts before being opened-up to a public vote.

FOOH stands for ‘Fake Out-of-Home’ advertising, a format that uses 3D animation and live action footage to create hyper-realistic videos of impossible adverts, stunts and brand moments in real-world locations.

Giant Primark Christmas character FOOH campaign by adam+gary in London.

For our Gold-winning Primark campaign, we partnered with the team at SocialChain to create an unconventional but instantly recognisable Christmas campaign that struck a chord with fans of the store. The film features a super-sized version of the iconic Primark brown bag spreading festive cheer around London.

It was in post-production where this project really came to life. We needed to add so many extra elements to bring a proper dose of Christmas sparkle, so the final film looks completely different to the live-action footage we shot around London.

Ryder Cup 45 Days to Go FOOH campaign transforming New York landmarks with golf-themed VFX.

Our second Gold came for The Ryder Cup, following a week-long shoot at iconic locations across New York and a heavy post-production schedule back in Manchester.

The winning FOOH film was taken from the year-long countdown series we made for the 2025 Ryder Cup, and almost didn’t happen at all.

We’d captured all the footage we planned, but we had this vision of golf balls pouring from a New York Subway car that we just couldn’t shake. So, we decided to add it in as a surprise for the team at The Ryder Cup, and it ended up becoming one of the most memorable clips from the whole campaign.

Giant London Marathon 2025 winners’ medal draped over Tower Bridge in a FOOH campaign.

For our Silver-winning project, we collaborated with the team at London Marathon Events to create the reveal film for the official 2025 TCS London Marathon finisher medal.

To bring the campaign to life, the medal needed to be painstakingly and accurately recreated in 3D.

We were sworn to secrecy and given an early sample to work from, which is probably the closest either of us will come to receiving a medal at any marathon!

The team at London Marathon Events understood what it would take to make every 3D element feel as authentic as possible, from the design and texture through to the way the medal moved. Then they trusted us to get on with it.

Even with a triple award win, we aren’t resting on our laurels, with multiple new FOOH campaigns currently in development for events throughout the remainder of 2026 – keep your eyes peeled!
